Creating Your First Program

Creating your first program in PickleSync is straightforward. The platform guides you through each step to ensure your program is configured correctly from the start.

Take advantage of the program templates available in PickleSync. Templates provide pre-configured settings for common program types like round-robin leagues, ladder competitions, and social play sessions.

Creating a Program

Navigate to your dashboard and click the Create Program button to begin:

  1. Program Details: Enter your program name, description, and start/end dates
  2. Format Selection: Choose from round-robin, social play, ladder, or tournament formats
  3. Court Configuration: Specify the number of courts available and session duration
  4. Skill Levels: Define the skill level ranges for your program (e.g., 2.5-3.0, 3.0-3.5, 3.5-4.0)
  5. Schedule Setup: Configure your meeting days, times, and frequency

Once you complete the initial setup, you'll be taken to the program management page where you can begin adding players and generating your first matches. PickleSync automatically creates a dedicated page for your program that includes the schedule, player roster, and upcoming matches.

Inviting Players

After creating your program, the next step is inviting players:

  • Email Invitations: Send bulk email invitations with unique registration links
  • QR Code: Generate a QR code that players can scan to register instantly
  • Public Link: Share a public registration URL via social media or your website
  • Manual Entry: Add players directly if you already have their information

Players who register will automatically appear in your roster with their skill level, contact information, and availability preferences. You can review and approve registrations before players are added to active matches.
